  • $100 per team
  • $1000 guaranteed per console
  • All UPA Rules must be followed
  • Teams will play one BO3 matchup every 24 hours
  • The first matchups will be randomized, each subsequent matchup will be based on the Swiss format which matches teams based on their performance. High performing teams play against other high performing teams. Low performing teams play against other low performing teams.
  • This format will result in skilled based matchups as the event progresses. By the end of the event, the worst two teams should be playing, and the two best teams should be playing. There will be a minimum of 5 rounds of season matchmaking. The number of rounds will vary based upon the number of signups.
  • The above results in a guaranteed minimum number of games of 10 per team.
  • At the conclusion of the Swiss rounds, the top four teams will participate in a single-elimination BO3 tournament to determine the winner.
  • Should the winner of the event and other teams already be qualified for the UPA World Championship, the team which finishes with the next highest Swiss format placement will be declared the automatic qualifier winner.
  • You will receive 1 point for each game win and 1 point for each match win. The total number of possible points earned for one series is 3 points. The loser may still earn a point by taking it to a game 3. Bye weeks, if an uneven number of teams, will automatically receive 3 points.
  • The losing team must submit its win in the series to receive credit.
  • Tie breakers will be based on the default Swiss format tie breakers: Wins vs Tied Participants, Median-Buchholz system, Points difference in that order.
  • There are ZERO extensions. You must utilize your bench if necessary to get the games played. The series will be simulated at UPA discretion if it is not played. Submit proof on the Discord Screenshot Channel of your availability and attempt to schedule the series (via the opposing Captain’s Twitter) if you believe you are not at fault for the series not getting played. Label said proof with your team name vs opponent team name.
  • Typical reasonable availability for a series is 8 PM to 1 AM EST.
  • All teams which enter will be awarded legacy points based on where they finish in the standings, so all games matter.
  • Winners of this event on each console will automatically qualify for Unified Pro-Am Association World Championship which will be live in Dallas, TX July 3rd and 4th for a total prize of $30,000. More information can be found at https://unifiedproam.gg/tournaments/structure.
  • Winners will receive $1000 guaranteed per console
  • Tournament winners will receive the cash prize detailed above; responsibility for distribution of winnings falls entirely upon team captains unless the captain has told WR to do otherwise.
  • Note: Registration fees above the $1000 guaranteed prize will go towards the UPA World Championship.
  • Note: Since  this is a new pro-am format UPA reserves the right to retroactively edit the rules in a manner consistent with the intent of the format.
